PRICE Systems Becomes a Third Year Recipient of an Internal Revenue Service Contract

PRICE Systems proves once again its estimation performance capabilities with a major Federal Agency

MT. LAUREL, NJ / October 16, 2008 / PRICE Systems (www.pricesystems.com), the world leader in estimation tools and solutions and developer of the newly released TruePlanning® 2008, announces a third year extension on its contract with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). PRICE Systems supports the IRS by providing independent cost estimates for their modernization initiatives.

PRICE Systems consultants use TruePlanning to build independent cost estimates for a variety of different projects. "The work is very challenging. We have worked with the IRS to develop a repeatable methodology," says Bill Mathis, Senior Director of the Government Solutions Division at PRICE Systems. "This repeatable methodology adheres to the best practices outlined in the Government Accountability Office Cost Assessment Guide, and has allowed us to improve with every task."

This contract extension is clearly the best compliment the IRS can bestow to a solutions provider. It confirms that the Agency is pleased with the performance of PRICE Systems. "We are clearly bringing the IRS, and the taxpayers, value with our cost estimating solutions," comments Larry Reagan, Vice President of Government Solutions Division.

PRICE Systems has built a solid team dedicated to supporting the IRS. The relationship is one of strong mutual respect. "We've been pleased with the candor this agency has given PRICE Systems," says Larry Reagan, "The IRS doesn't hold back with telling us our strengths and areas for continued improvement. This is both refreshing and appreciated."
