Mt. Laurel, N.J. — February 7, 2011 — Quentin Redman, formerly a Sr. Engineer Fellow and Technical Director within the Systems Development Center of Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems in El Segundo, California, is bringing his nearly four decades of experience to PRICE Systems as a solutions architect on the West Coast.
At Raytheon Redman was technical director of the Systems Affordability/Emerging Programs Department where he was responsible for providing systems engineering policy and engineering cost estimating for program managers, engineers and integrated product development teams. His department established cost as a key parameter in the design process and evaluated the economic impacts associated with various concepts and alternatives.
"We are fortunate to have acquired the services and technical expertise of Quentin Redman," said Anthony DeMarco, CEO of PRICE Systems. "His experience in engineering estimation and economic analysis, especially in regard to highly technical government defense systems, will be a tremendous asset to PRICE and our valued customers."
Redman has a B.S. in Engineering Technology Electronics from California State University at Long Beach and an M.S. in Financial Management/Economics from West Coast University, Los Angeles. In 2006 he received the Freiman International Parametric Service Award and his paper, entitled "Why Affordability is a Systems Engineering Metric," won first prize at the International Society of Parametric Analysis in 2000.
