Mt. Laurel, NJ / May 4, 2010 / A workshop presented by leading estimation software provider PRICE Systems will feature industry experts discussing how to use a combination of people, processes and tools to achieve a better understanding of parametrics and overcome common estimating problems. It will begin at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, May 19th at MCR, Suite 600, Maryland Ave. SW in Washington D.C.
The program will include presentations by Kevin McKeel, managing partner of Logapps, a management services company based in Falls Church, Va; Keith Breakfield, a technical analyst at Northrop Grumman; Larry Wolfarth, lead parametric analyst at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory; Raymond Covert, technical director at MCR; and Arlene Minkiewicz, chief scientist at PRICE Systems.
A wide variety of topics will be covered, including: Lifecycle Cost Estimating (McKeel); PRICE Model Calibration (Breakfield); Translating NASA's TRL to a Parametric Model (Wolfarth); ZMPE Implementation of Unit Learning Curve Analysis (Covert); and PRICE Cost Research Roadmap (Minkiewicz). In accordance with Continuous Learning Policy for the Department of Defense Acquisition Technology Logistics Workforce, PRICE Systems will provide documentation for Continuous Learning Points.
