PRICE Systems announced today that it is collaborating with Executive Business Services, Inc. (EBS) to co-host inaugural Government Contract Pricing (GCP) Summit. The event will take place on June 21 – 23, 2016 at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines in San Diego, CA.
There is a growing need for efficiency in the highly regulated federal contract procurement and acquisition world for public and private sector pricing experts. With ever-shrinking government budgets and relentless time and margin pressures there is a need for managing costs of products and projects for estimators as well. This unique, inaugural event will bring government acquisition professionals, pricing analysts, cost estimators, and contract professionals together to resolve and improve acquisition results, in addition to streamlining the process and encouraging innovation between each group.
The keynote speaker of the summit is the renowned Shay D. Assad, the Director, Defense Procurement and Acquisition Policy & Strategic Sourcing for the U.S. Department of Defense. Assad will share his unique perspective on procurement pricing. Various thought leaders within the industry, including experts from organizations such as Boeing, NASA, General Dynamics, Aerojet Rocketdyne and DCAA, will also be sharing their insights during sessions.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their questions and ideas to two moderated panel discussions at the conference, which will be led by experienced panelists. These panel dialogs will be one of the many ways the overarching theme of the Summit: “Collaboration. Innovation. Synergy,” will be accomplished, through conferring and brainstorming from various vantage points within the industry.
