Director Solutions Consulting - Washington, D.C.
Job Description:
- Working with Solutions Architects to craft solutions and deploy and manage Solutions Consultants to ensure the best qualified resources are engaged to provide customer satisfaction and effective continued support.
- Experience in estimating as it applies to government , especially Department of Defense acquisitions.
- Demonstrated ability with planning, programming, or budgeting of advanced Information Technology and weapon systems with emphasis on cost estimating and analysis.
- Experience with software based tools for forecasting, data base management, and risk evaluations (e.g. PRICE, SEER, ACEIT, Crystal Ball). Must be comfortable working with a variety of modeling software.
- Proficiency in the use and integration of Microsoft Office applications.
- Technical and management responsibility for PRICE Systems’ training course materials development, maintenance, and presentation.
- Regular formal and informal reporting to senior PRICE Systems management, peers and subordinates. Organization and conduct of regular team progress and planning meetings.
- Must be willing and able to take on technical responsibility for developing and maintaining portions of engagement project deliverable analyses and produce reports summarizing results and recommendations.
- This individual will have a demonstrated record of excellence in directly servicing customers in a consulting and analysis project environment.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, operations research, business, mathematics, or similar.
- Current certifications related to cost estimating, analysis, and/or project management (AACE, ISPA, PMI, SCEA) are highly desirable.
- At least 8 – 12 years direct experience performing on-site consulting engagements involving technical delivery teams and personnel with emphasis on cost estimating and analysis.
- U.S. citizenship required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Prepare written and/or oral reports to communicate results and status to Customer and/or PRICE Systems management.
- Willingness and ability to travel; sometimes without much lead time warning.
- Ability to wear many hats in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
