JKJ Engineered Technologies, Inc. (JKJET) supports both the Federal government and private companies in defense related engineering and analytical efforts.
JKJET has extensive experience in DOD weapons systems research and analysis. JKJET conducts analyses on aircraft and components. JKJET supports many Commands, NAVAIR, SSG, QDR, ONR, DARPA, and OSD, and other government agencies and industry. Utilizing engineering expertise, JKJET analyzes aircraft and weapons systems data using off-the-shelf methods or by developing custom analysis methods, as needed.
William Horn started JKJET to pursue applications of engineering, analysis, and complexity science. His recent tasks include leading the cost research team for the DARPA Affordability Simulation Requirements Model contract and analyzing aircraft subsystems and conducting requirements analysis for Office of Naval Research in support of the USMC's Vertical UAV program. He has also served as an aircraft consultant and assisting clients with business development. He is familiar with the FAR, holds a System Engineering level III DAWII certification, and was a Contracting Officer's Representative when employed by the US Navy.
Mr. Horn has over 20 years of Department of Defense (DOD) experience as an engineer, analyst, and technologist. Mr. Horn was a Senior Aircraft Designer for the US Navy and has extensive experience of understanding air vehicle systems, subsystems, and technology. He has extensive Program Management and practical experience ranging from designing data analysis system to running aircraft projects.
