GAO Announces Presidential Transition WebsiteThe Governement Accountability Office launched a new website that contains advice to the Obama Transition Team and the new Congress. The site presents a series of tabs with which the GAO aims to provide insight and recommendations for addressing the nation's major issues, risks, and challenges. One section addresses issues on an Agency by Agency basis while the Defense Spending section (found in the Urgent Issues tab) discusses the outlook on defense spending in the current economic climate. There are also links to Key Reports on the Department of Defense and other defense industry findings.
