Program Affordability Management: Destined to Succeed? Or Doomed to Fail?
Successful projects begin with a well-defined cost estimate. Whether it is a house, a new aircraft, or an agency-wide information technology system, blueprints alone are not sufficient. A credible cost estimate is a critical step in building anything. Indeed, that initial estimate may determine whether to launch a project at all. Project Affordability Management provides a "true view" approach to improve decision-making, increase accuracy and ensure program success.
