Service Release 2 (SR2) for the PRICE® TruePlanning® Suite is now available for download from the PRICE Systems Website. Modules enhanced with new features include PRICE H, PRICE HL and PRICE TruePlanner, as well as the PRICE Enterprise Solution. Existing TruePlanning users can immediately download SR2 from the link provided below. New users can still download SR2, but may need to obtain a license key from PRICE.

PRICE Systems Lands Third Major Contract in Federal Market

After announcing two major contract awards in the Federal market last month, PRICE Systems rolled to another major contract win in July with GovWorks, the Federal Acquisition Center under the Department of the Interior. Continuing a strategy of teaming with complementary technology and services companies, PRICE is partnering on the contract with Cherokee Information Services, a Native American, Veteran, and Employee-owned company headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. The recent wins provide alternative contract vehicles that make PRICE more accessible to existing Federal market customers as well as new prospects.

Historical Trend Analysis Improves SMART Procurement for UK Defence

Historical Trend Analysis (HTA) using parametric models to normalize historical project costs and investigate trends has become a weapon of the UK's Defence Procurement Agency to predict acquisition costs and schedules for future systems. New guidance for the agency's SMART procurement initiative recognizes HTA as a means to compare other cost estimating methods. In a short article appearing in the UK's PROJECT magazine, PRICE System's senior executive consultant Dale Shermon explores the benefits and alerts UK Defence contractors about including HTA in their proposals for future systems.
