Also, a workshop on the Cost Engineering Capability Improvement Model will aim to implement the model developed by the European Aerospace Working Group on Cost Engineering (EACE) and provide a forum in which Cost Engineering Capability can be measured and improved. PRICE Thought Leadership Recognized with ISPA and SCEA Awards
Powered by PRICE Research™

A white paper on "The Real Cost of COTS" (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf components) by PRICE Systems' Chief Scientist Arlene F. Minkiewicz was recognized with awards from both the International Society of Parametric Analysts (ISPA) and the Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis (SCEA) in their software tracks. This award-winning paper documents the first steps in an on-going PRICE Systems initiative intended to develop cost estimating relationships that would help make planning COTS projects easier and more accurate. During her 20 year tenure at PRICE, Arlene has spearheaded efforts to design cost estimating solutions based on market requirements and research data. Arlene’s research has been published in leading trade journals and she holds a patent in parametric costing technique. She was ISPA’s Parametrician of the Year in 2002.
