New Award Winning White Paper: The Evolution of Hardware EstimatingJust as Nintendo evolves gaming and Apple extends telecommunications with its new iPhone, PRICE Systems continually refines hardware estimation as technology improves at breakneck speeds. In a recent study, PRICE Research investigated the impact of evolving technology on the development and delivery of hardware components and systems. For example: "How does a cost model built in the 1970's have to grow to estimate hardware challenges in 2007 and beyond?" Survey findings on technology trends, obsolescence, systems engineering, COTS, integration and testing are discussed in this new white paper, which was presented by PRICE Chief Scientist Arlene Minkiewicz and awarded best paper for the Hardware Track at this month's Joint ISPA-SCEA Conference in New Orleans.
