The award continues a banner year for PRICE whose Government Solutions Division in Arlington, Virginia has, within the last four months, been awarded similar major contracts from the U.S. Navy, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of the Interior, and the U.S. General Services Administration. Independent Government Project ValidationFREE 45-minute Webinar, White Paper, and Market Survey Report
In 2006, the OMB's Office of Electronic Government and Information Technology (OEGIT) required Government agencies to perform a mandatory independent validation of cost, schedule, and performance goals for all major IT projects. PRICE System's Government Solutions Division has since taken the pulse of Federal Program Managers to identify best practices and trends in Federal IT cost management through an independently contracted market survey entitled "Keeping Federal IT Programs within Budget." This Webinar will share an overview of survey results, and discuss how programs and agencies can build an independent government estimating team to ensure their success and compliance. PRICE Systems' Zachary Jasnoff Among Featured Speakers at SoS WorkshopZachary Jasnoff, Director of Development Projects at PRICE Systems will be among featured industry experts sharing insights at a two-day workshop on "Decision Tools for Complex System of Systems Engineering" November 13-14 at the Hilton Hotel in Pasadena, California. Zach's presentation on "Total Ownership Cost and Performance Based Modeling" will highlight the need to estimate System-of-Systems (SoS) costs in a model capable of combining hardware and software cost objects. The workshop, presented by Phoenix Integration, will focus on the advantages and trends of modeling and simulation to estimate and optimize complex SoS programs, with widespread applications throughout government agencies and commercial engineering enterprises. |
