PRICE US Symposium "True Program Success 06" Recap
On April 19-21, PRICE Systems hosted cost professionals from Government and Industry at PRICE's US Symposium in San Diego, California.
PRICE Systems President and CEO Anthony DeMarco reflected on the company's near 30-year legacy, recapped PRICE's latest technology developments, and presented the company's current roadmap for the future. Distinguished guest speakers covered a mix of topics unified with a common theme of project control for better Program Affordability Management using PRICE cost models and methodologies. All presentations will be posted to the True Program Success '06 Web page. Among presenting attendees were representatives from OPNAV, NASA, Aerospace Corporation, BAE Systems, L-3 Communications, and Sikorsky Aircraft.
Also during the Symposium, PRICE Systems hosted the increasingly popular "Cost Talk" Roundtable—which this year focused on "Industry Trends in IT Systems and Net-Centric Warfare"—and technical workshops on the "Risk & Remedies of Estimating IT Programs" and PRICE H applications. A "round-robin" product demonstration format enabled attendees to see PRICE cost management tools address top industry challenges in consecutive 10-minute sessions by visiting individual stations manned by PRICE cost experts and partners.
The three packed days of enlightening speaker sessions, educational workshops, new product demonstrations, and industry networking helped prepare attendees for higher career achievement in the year ahead.
