ISPA Renew Your Training Panel
PRICE was the only cost estimating tool provider to participate in ISPA's annual Renew Your Training panel. The purpose of this exercise is to provide a participative training session in parametric cost estimating conducted by world-class professional estimating teams with the added benefit of critiques by senior government and industry executives.
This year's challenge was to present a Best Value proposal to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for an integrated solution to the next generation of airport security and scanning devices. A Senior Review Panel, who had source selection experience, reviewed the offerings.
PRICE Systems' Josh Wilson represented the PRICE Systems' team and received excellent ratings for his approach and solution to the scenario. If you missed this portion of the ISPA conference, PRICE will be running an encore INSight PLUS Webinar in July on our solution to the Renew Your Training exercise.
PRICE's Georges Teologlou Returns to ISPA Board of Directors
During the conference, Georges Teologlou, Vice President, PRICE Systems' International, was re-elected to another three-year term on the ISPA Board of Directors. In 2005, Georges completed the last of three consecutive terms on the Board, which was the longest tenure permitted by ISPA by-laws. After a one-year sabbatical, Georges was again elected to the Board. Among his significant contributions to ISPA, he played an integral role in initiating the European process for interviewing industry luminaries to present their value-added perspectives on parametric related issues. He also planned, organized and helped to develop the Asian Chapter of ISPA. Congratulations to Georges on his return to this important leadership role.
