Using the TruePlanning Activity Multiplier to Customize an Estimate
Certain activities are either unique to an organization's business process or else inherently governmental, e.g., Software Qualification Test. There are times when organizations will want to either eliminate or adjust the TruePlanning standard activities to match the way they do business. One way to solve this dilemma is to customize only certain activities using activity multipliers.
Multipliers can be used to adjust the impact of certain activities. By setting a multiplier to zero, you will effectively eliminate that activity, as well as any associated management or integration costs.
Steps for customizing activities - Eliminating Software Qualification Test
1. From the Tools menu, select Worksheet Sets.
2. In the Worksheet Sets Dialog Box, select the Activities Tab.
3. In the left-hand side of the dialog box, select Software Qualification Test. In the right hand side of the pane change the Multiplier to 0. Click the Close button.
