In addition to earned value management principles, Mr. Mathis is also a recognized expert in program planning and budgeting, program cost and resource management, and integrated program scheduling. He is a frequent speaker promoting the practice of "predictive" EVM. Overview:This workshop introduces the fundamental business practices of project management, utilizing earned value principles and methodologies. Estimating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems Facilitators: David Seaver and Arlene Minkiewicz Mr. Seaver is the Technical Director for Software Estimation and Measurement at PRICE Systems. He is currently supporting key programs for the US Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) including E-6B, VH60, VHXX and CH53. Ms. Minkiewicz is the Chief Scientist at PRICE Systems. She is responsible for current trends that power PRICE's full suite of cost estimating and analysis tools. Ms. Minkiewicz recently co-authored a parametric estimating book with CAM-I, "The Closed Loop: Implementing Activity-Based Planning and Budgeting". Overview:This workshop reviews some of the problems when applying classical software estimation techniques and processes to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications.
