An Innovative Approach to Modeling Scheduled Maintenance

A key performance parameter (KPP) in almost all major proposals and contracts is Operational Availability (Ao), which in the PRICE HL Model is called operational readiness. This paper explores an innovative approach to include scheduled maintenance activities into the Ao (as well as the cost) calculations so that PRICE HL can directly compute true system availability.
