PRICE Helps NDIA Welcome Italian Ambassador at November 29 Philadelphia Luncheon

MT. LAUREL, NJ / November 22, 2005 / The Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) is pleased to host the Ambassador of Italy, H.E. Giovanni Castellaneta and senior Embassy and industry officials from the U.S. and Italy at a luncheon on Tuesday, November 29 in the Rose Garden Room on the 19th Floor of the Park Hyatt Philadelphia at The Bellevue.

The luncheon will conclude a substantive morning seminar entitled, "U.S.-Italy Defense Dialogue: Building Strategic Partnerships in Global Security and Defense." According to PRICE Systems' President and program coordinator Anthony DeMarco, the luncheon and morning seminar program are intended to "foster the important security partnership between the US and Italy while spotlighting the dynamic momentum and assets of the Greater Philadelphia region."

Ambassador Castellaneta will deliver the luncheon's keynote address, highlighting the importance of international technology collaboration and the significance of partnerships between governments and industry in defeating terrorism. The Ambassador will also discuss the increasing interest of European defense firms seeking a presence in the Philadelphia area, due to its robust industry and political support. Following the luncheon, the Ambassador will address the media in a brief press conference in the Wine Room.

"We are honored to welcome His Excellency Castellaneta and illustrate the Greater Philadelphia region's contributions to the defense industry," said Doug Peel, President of the NDIA Delaware Valley Chapter.

The program, initiated by the NDIA Delaware Valley Chapter, will provide excellent content and valuable contacts to both large and small businesses in Philadelphia. The theme also publicizes the attractive assets of the region for foreign direct investment and international business development.

Underscoring the importance of the US/Italy collaboration, AgustaWestland North America, Inc., the US based headquarters of Italy's AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica Company, is holding a groundbreaking ceremony later in the day to announce the expansion of its Philadelphia, PA facility.
