PRICE® Systems’ Webinar Introduces its All-New Cost Models

Second installment of live 3-part series features new processes and tools now available within data-driven framework

Laurel, NJ / April 2, 2014 / PRICE® Systems LLC, pioneer in the science of parametric estimating and developer of PRICE® TruePlanning®—the global standard for accurate cost estimating—is offering a 3-part live webinar series featuring live demonstrations of new capabilities, processes, and tools now available in TruePlanning, a data-driven framework for faster, more robust decision-making. The second installment of the series, focused on its new cost models, will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm EST.

PRICE Systems’ Microcircuits Cost Model™—based on historic project data verified and validated by extensive PRICE® Research™ analysis and refinement—enables estimators to generate cost proposals using reliable top down estimating based on correlations to the scope and complexity of new projects.

John Swaren, Solutions Consultant at PRICE Systems, will provide attendees with an understanding of the common Electronic Elements used in Estimation. He will then demonstrate how to build a TruePlanning® Microcircuit Project  and operate TruePlanning® Microcircuit & Systems catalogs.

  • Microcircuits Catalog— Provides development/production costs and schedule estimates for electronic modules, PCBs, MCMs, ACISs, FPGAs
  • Module Estimating— Derives estimates associated with the design and production of electronic circuit modules, boards or MCMs
  • Component Estimating— Derives estimates associated with the active electronic components that populate an electronic module
