PRICE® Research is a team of analysts with over 700 years of cost research experience who continually improve our PRICE Cost Analytics™ technology to integrate within our customer's estimating processes.
We develop supervised, predictive models and thought leadership to guide aeronautics, space, and defense customers in the acquisition, extraction, and transformation of their corporate history.
Our predictive cost models (PRICE® Models) are rooted in data collection and validation that started in 1975 when PRICE® Systems first started to collect hardware system data from RCA’s Electronic Data Systems projects and other Aerospace and Defense projects. Data collection continues today with the latest technology advancements and best practices focused on costs, schedule, technical and programmatic data to continually support our PRICE® Community.Meet PRICE® People
Our studies are motivated by market demand, emerging technologies, availability of public and private data, and trusted government and industry materials. Web scraping is used for larger datasets. An ETL process converts heterogeneous datasets for analysis. We validate and verify the results against test datasets using an appropriate tool, repeating the process until the goals are met. Results are shared via model updates, templates, datasets, papers, presentations, and blogs.View Our Research
TruePlanning® 16.2 will be available soon. It will include new models for Common Elements, Hardware and Software Operation and Support costs, a new and improved version of the Rotorcraft model, and new models to support agile software development estimates. We’re also studying the economic issues associated Urban Air Mobility and how to align new agile software models and metrics to the Scaled Agile Framework and Earned Value Management.View Our Studies
